Lake Travis Football Club (LTFC) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the families and soccer fans throughout the Lake Travis and Greater Austin area. Our team leads with kindness, compassion, and empathy while creating a holistic approach to the long-term development of our student athletes on and off the field.
Lake Travis Football Club will lead the way within the industry through its long-term vision of a holistic player and coach development pathway. Our leadership team and coaching staff support our communities through our ELITE Coaching Methodology that utilizes soccer to promote health and wellness, both physically and mentally.
VISION
Here at Lake Travis Football Club we will strive to create and nurture a valuable soccer learning experience. To achieve this goal we will make every effort to insure that well-educated coaches develop the skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship and to foster and perpetuate these qualities at all levels of their soccer growth. We will endeavor to empower our players with a life-long passion and love for the game of soccer.
Our first look with the ball is forward. We attack spaces in between the lines & wide to play purposely toward our opponents goal. Our game is characterized by rhythm, creativity, fun, and by players aggressively taking the initiative. We build triangles and diamonds to create combination play, maintain possession, and go forward. We are always determined and strive to be rewarded for our effort.
When defending we are compact and work as a team until it’s “we against the ball.” We excel at reading the game and identifying critical moments of transition.
We always help and support each other in the spirit of team and fair play.
